Last but not least

We gave ourselves a good sleep for the very last day in Kuala Lumpur, we only started to keep our thing half hour before we checked out. For the past 3 years when I studied in Kuala Lumpur, I seldom had my footprint stepped on Petaling Street.
So lucky that we managed to bring them over there before back to our lovely island, we reached there early so people were not many.
We had our breakfast there, along the food stalls street; the famous soya bean at Petaling Street! Over here, we have hot Tau Fu Fa, Lindsey and Jerry were so shocked because at Taiwan, they serve the Tau Fu Fa in cold.
4 of us shared 2 big bowls of Gui Ling Gao, a jelly-like Chinese medicine, good for skin! Even with the honey, thee Gui Ling Gao still with bitter taste.
Went to have a walk in Central Market, to see all the arty crafty things, I still remember last time I was here for Pipit Wonderful Market.
VIP of the day - Jeremy Teh who promised us to lunch together, yet ended up he had his lunch, and just came over to accompany us.
Last destination at Kuala Lumpur City Galley before off to Dataran Merdeka.
The largest miniature of Dataran Merdeka model is placed inside; over here, you can discover the city and learn about the history.
After the showroom, we entered the souvenir corner where you can grab it back with you if you find anything you like.
Last but not least, the Dataran Merdeka. The road is blocked as they had some event on-going that day, but it was okay to walk inside.
Jump, jump, jump! Even though Jeremy didn't touch on his cammie for ages, still, we can have this beautiful photo because of him, and he don't have a good photo because of us! Laugh

Lessons that I'd learnt throughout this trip:
1. Not to wear the same cloth with boy, as this will bring a lot of misapprehend even though it is the shirt we get from same event.
2. Slippers are always your smartest choice! This is the first time I wore this slippers after-since I got it at Langkawi last year.

Finally finished the KL trip posts, after 3 weeks.

Wong Ah Wah Chicken Wings

After got down from Genting Highlands, what we did next was to find a good dining place somewhere at Jalan Alor. Went this area not more than 2 times including this time, but both also went to the same hawker shop - Wong Ah Wah.
Many foreigners know to find great food over here, there are hawker stalls along the street, but the one we went is at the end there.
With no second thought, we started to order dishes that we like, for the soup we had seaweed soup.
Not to forget the chicken satay; still, I feel that the best satay that I ever had is at Kajang, too bad don't have chance to try again.
Famous dish in Malaysia, Belacan Kangkung, Lindsey and Jerry couldn't have spicy food, so we called the chef to reduce the spiciness.
Oh my gosh! This is it, the famous chicken wings that I had it 2 years ago, and I was there again for it, superb and fingers licking good!
Please remember this restaurant, it's located just at the end of Jalan Alor, it also provides air-conditioner room if you don't want to surround by the mess smoke.

Wong Ah Wah Restaurant
Address: No. 1, 5 & 7, Jalan Alor, 50200 Kuala Lumpur.

Finally had the chance to go dim sum too at Jalan Ipoh.

We were up to Genting Highlands!

Woke up early in the morning so that we can get the bus ticket to Genting Highlands at KL Sentral, don't know why during fasting session, the tickets also sold out that fast, so we only can get ourselves the 9.30am bus.
Another monorail ride to KL Sentral, not even a man in the station, too early I guess.
The only fast food store that open 24 hours in KL Sentral. Everytime if I happened to come here too early, this will be my breakfast.
After we reached at the skyway station for cable car, we were told that the service was shut down for maintenance, unlucky! Crowds were waiting for the bus to fetch them to the top, but we gave up and went there with a cab, we had no time to waste.
Finally, we were there, the weather was good and windy; I was the only one with short pants, I really love this kind of weather.
Only bought the outdoor theme park tickets as we need to go down at evening time, we only chose those games that don't need to queue for long time, for my trainees, this theme park is like a kids playground if compare to theirs.
Magic show was available, and I noticed not even a Malay was at the theme park! Oops!
Just realized there are not much games that we can play, but queuing made us killed our time faster.
Something that made them feel excited about this trip, the casino! Too bad Jerry is under aged and the guard not allowed him to go inside. He needed to wait outside while I brought Lindsey to have a quick look inside the casino, still dislike the smoky environment.

One more day to go!

The journey continue

After had some photo shooting on the twin tower, we moved inside the mall and enjoyed window shopping before went off to next.
We brought them to Aquaria, is a must when we are in KLCC. The entrance fee is RM10 differ with MyKad holder (RM35) and non-MyKad holder (RM45); we managed to get them MyKad rate tickets like us while the ticket-man was studied on my cross-ring. Woot
Found many of this hammerhead shark design lamps on the top of us, like the blue ray that make them look real.
We were lucky to bump into their daily feeding session, they prepare different kinds of fresh meat for their fishes and other species.
Found this fake diver in the Oceanarium. It's a 90 meter transparent underwater tunnel with a moving walkalator to take us on our journey beneath the depths, we went inside twice to get better photo on the fishes.
The entrance of the Oceanarium, a shark mouth! We love to act wherever we are, especially me they said.
I don't like huge jellyfish because they have long and yuckie stings, yet I can accept the tiny one, looks cute and harmless.
Spent around half hour at their souvenir shops but ended up bought nothing.
After the underwater journey, we went to Pavilion, we walked from KLCC over here, can't really felt my legs after this walk.
The thing that never change in Pavilion, the water fountain right in front the entrance; I like it in red color. Peep the Uniqlo shoplot behind, regretted not to get a piece inside. Sigh.
You guys should know what shop we were in with above photo, was likely to see them make the sweet but they took long time to finish.
I didn't get one for myself, but Jie Xiang and Lindsey did, for their friends and family. Yet, I tried a few in the shop, laugh
Rushing up to Tokyo Street before we were leaving for our dinner at Lot 10 HuTong; and surprisingly Kampachi is in Pavilion!
Can't really find stuff that I like in Tokyo Street yet it's another food heaven for food hunter. Lot of shops selling nice food.
Lindsey and Jerry found this Jumbo Wagashi interesting, they also have it in Taiwan, so they bought some to try on the taste.
While waiting for our Jumbo Wagashi, fainted to see they making the chocolate flavor wagashi, I'm not into sweet thing like this.
Waited for around 10 minutes, ta-dah, our Jumbo Wagashi were done, I chose the original one; I did tried on the chocolate flavor, it taste good for a bite but in whole it will be a little bit too sweet for me.
That's all for the first day; we took monorail to our hotel, and they changed the access card to token, feel to keep one with me!
Always been here for last 3 years, so happy that we don't need to hustle in KTM, but just LRT and monorail for this trip.

. . . . . . . . . . .

More and more to come, with slow pace.

Hello, Kuala Lumpur

The day since our Taiwanese trainees came over company, we never fail them by bringing them walked around the beautiful island; this time, we were out from little island to bigger city, Kuala Lumpur. Only 2 of them were followed since their teacher also brought them to other places, yet we went more places than them; thanks to my colleague Jie Xiang, who been our driver for 3 days, approximately.
Brought my fluffy bear along, and he provided a few pillows for trainees; that's how we spent 4 hours plus in the car before reached KL.
Our accommodation for 2 days in the center of the city, good thing about it is there have a few mini marts operate for 24 hours.
Our first destination of the day after touch down the city, KL Tower. It was like my first time stepped on this area, all the things seem so fresh to me, was wondered am I really not went to this place before. Laugh, the sign of short memory of me.
You will get to see the cultural village once you go to Level 1, didn't really walked inside the village, the broiling weather was killing me.
Found a area where Telekom display all the antique public phone in sequence from old time until now; the colors are nicer than now.
Pony ride is available at KL Tower, ain't sure about the price but I think it is not cheap to have a ride just in the car park area for one round. The ponies are cute but we feel that they are pity to endure the weight of tourists even-tho in the carriage.
We parked our car safely in the hotel and used public transport to make our trip funnier, too bad only cab available in KL tower area.
Next stop at Suria KLCC, really miss those places where I used to go with my roomie, housemates, com-mates, and friends. Miss you!
Simply found a place to have our lunch at Signatures food court, heard that their Kuey Teow Th'ng is good together with popiah
Second round for our lunch at Sushi King, the little boy, Jerry yearned to try out the salmon as he claimed that Taiwan has the best Japanese restaurant with good quality of salmon provided. Yet, for me, as long as I get to eat salmon, I'll satisfy. Laugh
Professional photographer will take any pose they like as long as good photo are taken; all of us except Jerry running here and there to find a good spot to the the twin tower, while he helping us to carry bags and stuffs, oh yeah, and hiding under the shade.
Love this much, especially the metal-like dolphin.
The cross-ring which I wore for whole trip, new love accessories of mine. Stay tuned for more posts on the KL trip with them and get to meet up with VIP on last day.

. . . . . . . . . .

Good to have travel moment with them, great company and we made lots of laughter.
