Paris on your fingertips

Ain't a fan of Underworld, yet I went to watch Underworld: Awakening after our lunch. Luckily I still managed to catch up the story line while I missed the first three movies; they did rewind some of the important scene at the beginning of the movie. Apparently, I kinda love the story which relates vampires and lycanthropes, too bad the movie is short and finish in a blink. I want more!

Macaron . RM14 for 5 pieces

Ever heard about the French sinfully confectionery, the macaron which is now quite popular? Went to Macaron Cafe at Gurney after the movie, regretted that I didn't went to Levain Boulangerie Patisserie when I was still in KL. Smack. The lovely hostess chose the flavor for us, she left out the lavender flavor because she scared we can't accept the taste. How lovely she is! We had vanilla, mocha, strawberry, chocolate mint and pistachio flavors; I just love those colors on the plate. While you eat macaron, this is when Paris on your fingertips! Laugh

Be Yourself

I'm outdated and don't even knew that Ke Zheng Dong was coming to Gurney, Penang and I was actually planned to have dinner over there. Hardly to get ourselves a parking lot, whorled for nearly a quarter of time to get the lot. Went to see him before the dinner.

People were a lot, I squeezed myself and only manage to see him on the top.
I wonder what time they started to wait for him. He has his own charm that makes people fall for him. Laugh
First Sushi Tei in Penang; I had my first one at Kuala Lumpur together with my uni family a year ago, I miss that moment, and them.
Una Tama Don . RM26.80
Yaki Udon . RM13.80
My all time favorite! Salmon Sushi . RM4.20 for 2 pieces.
Shirane . RM24

The restaurant is actually close at 10pm, yet when we left there it was almost 10.30pm; feel bad because they need to extend their business hour. Watched midnight movie, Chronicle and chilled out at Starbucks before that.

I'm soaring

Didn't work on Friday, still I woke up early in the morning, to get myself a free breakfast. Laugh. Went to McDonald's with Poh Khoon when the sky was still dark, and waited the little babe, Ee Kee to show up; she reached and brought the sun with her, for us.

We were then fetched her to airport, for her friend's wedding dinner. Here's the new face of Penang Airport, still under renovation and not much different for the inner part. Love the sound where the plane fly-off in the sky; it gives me a feel to getaway, which I need one.

It's in me

Hi! I had enough food posts until now, more posts to come yet still related to great food in the island; toss the food aside and let's talk about something different for a moment. I'm a big fans of Starbucks, or no? Get influenced by someone else, two years ago; I think I'm now addicted more than he does now. Laugh. Whenever I want to have chit-chat or gathering, Starbucks would be my choice now.

Oh gosh! Starbucks planner is in the house. In love with the box more where the gold words imprint on the black box.
I guess I will only keep this planner for myself, too pretty for me to write on it. My handwriting will only spoil it, or make it prettier?

Eat-all-you-can!

Dinner with Joe and his friends; first they planned to dine at Full House but ended up at Yea, Times Square Penang. I'm sure you guys are familiar with the Tao, a fancy restaurant that offer all-you-can-eat buffet; and now with the management of Tao, they opened Yea Japanese BBQ & Shabu Shabu restaurant. Different with other restaurants, Yea use crystal stone to grilled the seafood so you wouldn't get charred BBQ-burnt on your food; it's something new and healthy to us.

Look at the sign, and it's inspired by the shape of scallop; look alike no? The ambiance of the restaurant is simply amazing and they chipped in a huge amount on renovation and interior design. Regretted I didn't took much of the photos during the night.

It's so Japanese feel once you step in the restaurant and I simply like the design of chandelier.
They placed lots of origami style animal statue in the restaurant, heart them so much.
As we were quite late for the dinner, I didn't have time to shot on food, just share some over here. They have huge freezer which houses all the great stuff in raw, all can be cooked using either BBQ style or shabu-shabu style. We took quite a lot and grilled all the raw by our own, it was fun and yummy at the same time. They also provide plenty of choices for shabu-shabu; I took abalone slices, a lot!
Are you drooling now? Laugh
We were bloated after the staple food, still we grabbed for more dessert and fruits; and they do have chocolate fondue and ice cream corner. All with only RM48++ (adults) and RM24++ (children), what you eat will gonna worth this price; let's have another round!
