Hello, Kuala Lumpur

The day since our Taiwanese trainees came over company, we never fail them by bringing them walked around the beautiful island; this time, we were out from little island to bigger city, Kuala Lumpur. Only 2 of them were followed since their teacher also brought them to other places, yet we went more places than them; thanks to my colleague Jie Xiang, who been our driver for 3 days, approximately.
Brought my fluffy bear along, and he provided a few pillows for trainees; that's how we spent 4 hours plus in the car before reached KL.
Our accommodation for 2 days in the center of the city, good thing about it is there have a few mini marts operate for 24 hours.
Our first destination of the day after touch down the city, KL Tower. It was like my first time stepped on this area, all the things seem so fresh to me, was wondered am I really not went to this place before. Laugh, the sign of short memory of me.
You will get to see the cultural village once you go to Level 1, didn't really walked inside the village, the broiling weather was killing me.
Found a area where Telekom display all the antique public phone in sequence from old time until now; the colors are nicer than now.
Pony ride is available at KL Tower, ain't sure about the price but I think it is not cheap to have a ride just in the car park area for one round. The ponies are cute but we feel that they are pity to endure the weight of tourists even-tho in the carriage.
We parked our car safely in the hotel and used public transport to make our trip funnier, too bad only cab available in KL tower area.
Next stop at Suria KLCC, really miss those places where I used to go with my roomie, housemates, com-mates, and friends. Miss you!
Simply found a place to have our lunch at Signatures food court, heard that their Kuey Teow Th'ng is good together with popiah
Second round for our lunch at Sushi King, the little boy, Jerry yearned to try out the salmon as he claimed that Taiwan has the best Japanese restaurant with good quality of salmon provided. Yet, for me, as long as I get to eat salmon, I'll satisfy. Laugh
Professional photographer will take any pose they like as long as good photo are taken; all of us except Jerry running here and there to find a good spot to the the twin tower, while he helping us to carry bags and stuffs, oh yeah, and hiding under the shade.
Love this much, especially the metal-like dolphin.
The cross-ring which I wore for whole trip, new love accessories of mine. Stay tuned for more posts on the KL trip with them and get to meet up with VIP on last day.

They ephemeral beauty

I only went for Bon Odori once, this was the second time; I just don't really like crowded area, somemore do not have seat provided. Yet, this time was something different, went there with friends and our Taiwanese trainee brought all their friends to meet up with us.
Our Penang CM was giving his opening speech for the event, like a star; everyone was paying their full attention on him, bravo.
Every year, a big stage on the center of esplanade field is a must, for the performance purpose; non-stop of musics and dances.
Found many kiddos wearing the kimono walking around, how cute! They even placed their fan behind the kimono belt, we also got our free fan from the booth and ended up place the fan in our pants or pockets, hilariously.
Meet my trainee, Lindsey and her friend, Willy, he flied over Penang to look for them since he is in holiday now. Didn't have time to took group photos, they were running here and there for interesting stuffs, while we tried to find a seat in the middle of crowds.
Waited for hours just to see their beautiful fireworks, trainees said that this was much better than their fireworks in Taiwan. Proud
Our tiredness was slowly lick up our soul that night, but it was worth to wait until the end, for the beautiful thing. It did made me feel better even we were trapped in the traffic jam for almost one hour plus.

Ps: some of the photos were taken in wide screen mode.

. . . . . . . . . .

We shall go wild with fireworks as they will plunge into the sky and shatter the darkness.

Chew Jetty's mural

Went to Chew Jetty with friends a week ago before the Bon Odori, wandered around at heritage area and we had nice food along the way; food post not going to update over here. I'm going to become darker since I walk under the sun almost every week. Laugh
Another mural at Chew Jetty, he is no longer stay in Penang after he completed his task.
Going to stay at home for a few weeks, stop myself to hunt for more heritage places which I think I'll never can, so just let it be. Smile.

I want more trainings

Finished my 2 days short course aka training outside the island; feel bad for not going to work for 2 days, going to have lots of stuff to settle once I back to office next week. Not like other companies, they got accompanies during the training, I'm alone as I'm the only one to go for that course; yet knowing new friends did make me feel better. By the way, I'm the youngest among all of them!
First person to reach the training hall, was having fun on taking photos in the room.
Okay, one good thing about the training: we got plenty of tea breaks, which make me can't feel my hunger at all, along the day.
First time to try on this Tu Boh Sng (豬母霜) at Butterworth, which include steamed octopus, jelly fish and fish balls. It's really not bad, I'll definitely go back there for more, yummy! Started to miss the taste when I blogged about it at late night.
Was then going to Tea Garden with sister and brother-in-law for the Taiwanese dessert, my sister's favourite, but I was only go for Iced Peach Tea while they shared a bowl of dessert. Having little games with them, like scrabble and UNO cards.

. . . . . . . . . . .

I started to miss my study life.
