Happy Mother's Day

We postponed celebration of Mother's Day to Wednesday, just to avoid the crowd; yet I need rush to meet up my family after my work.

There's where they waited me in Evergreen Laurel Hotel's lobby, my daddy said the Lounge looks great with all the Jazz music playing on the night. My first time to pay a visit to Cafe Laurel, which is quite famous with their buffet dinner. The buffet cuisines are vary daily, we chose to have fusion and international cuisines, people were quite a lot until some of them need to have seat outside the cafe.

My all time favorite - Sashimi! Took quite a big portion, ended up mostly finished by me and sister, daddy ate a few, stomach not very well, that was why couldn't have raw food intake. My mom don't like raw and cold food, yet sushi roll fit her quite well.

Mom always couldn't resist to their dessert, especially cakes; believe no she actually finished this plate of cakes and wished for more? Laugh.

Moo moo~

Rain just fell when I wanted to go out, good or bad? Good because the weather is hot nowadays, bad because I don't like raining when I'm at outside. Luckily the rain stopped when I step out from my house, hooray! 

It's a craze now in town with Frozen Yogurt, first with Tutti Frutti, Kiwiberry, Fruuze and now we have Moo Cow at Paragon, Gurney!

A colorful shop with a cow standing in front, ever see this cow moo-ing when you pass by paragon? Laugh. It brings the meadow feel. 

Once stepped inside the shop, you will find this wood block; there are 3 flavors to be chosen and they are seasonal, flavors will be changed every few months. The topping choices are not many like Tutti Frutti yet they are more than enough.

If you don't know which flavor to choose with, you can have a taste on each of them first before you place your order.

Bell on top of the table, thought they will ring it when our order is served, yet I never heard a ring that night, might be a decor only.

Found this cutie sheep placed at the cashier, quite heavy tho.

My Moo Cow Frozen Yogurt, original flavor topped with almond sliver (RM9.90); heart their napkin design.

You will get this card to collect stamp, free gift will be given get when you finished 15 Moo Cow Frozen Yogurt, the cutie sheep? Laugh. 

They shop look like a farm, with all the decor and colors; as well as their yogurt cup, with the family faces printed on the top, cute!

It's like stepping on the grass, meadow field! Somewhere I wish to go for my holiday break.

Went to cousin's wedding at Alor Setar last Sunday, quite a rush one as I don't have Wesak Day replacement on the next day, how sad!

Just a short one.

Longing for Korean food for a month, so lucky to find myself some good accompanies to Aza Aza Starvil. Together with some of my colleagues and ex-colleagues, laugh, we went for the Korean Cuisine after our work. 

It's not easy to find an authentic Korean restaurant in Penang; the owner of the restaurant is a Korean and marry with a Malaysian girl.

Here come our free flow side dishes, normally in a Korean restaurant you will get to eat their Kimchi, seasoned vegetables, homemade rice crackers and mash potato. The mash potato is awesome and we refilled it for times.

Japchae . RM19.90

It's Korean sweet potato noodle a.k.a winter noodles pan fried with pork and vegetables; recommended by the owner, it was quite okay.

Aza Aza Special BBQ . RM24.90

Another dishes recommended by the owner with house signature spicy marinated pork, they have waiters to serve you on this.

The barbecue meat is served together with lettuce leaves and onions, great combination!

Kimchi Jjigae . RM17.90

My favourite kimchi stew with sliced pork, tofu and cellophane noodles, you can choose either it served with white rice or ramen.

Dolsot Bibimbap . RM13.90

Always see it in drama and now I was actually having it in real! Hot stone bowl rice with egg, seaweed and vegetables, served with a bowl of seaweed soup. It will be nicer if they mix with spicy-er sauce. 

Ddeokbokki . RM19.90

Another signature dish for Korean restaurant, spicy fried Korean rice cake with pork and vegetables. Chewy.

Finally got my satisfaction over here, yet I still miss the one I had at Kuala Lumpur, even nicer than here. Laugh.

A blink of eyes, May came and chucked April away from us, that was how my quarter year finished with lots of love from friends and family; more to come! I'm standing still on my place, I realized it's time for me/us to step forward, to chase for our bigger dream.
