Craved for Pan Mee

After-since I came back from Kuala Lumpur, I didn't get myelf a satisfaction towards Chili Pan Mee here. I have found myself one shop, which is I Mum Mum Pan Mee at Weld Quay. Cheng Hang, if you are reading this, it's just somewhere near your father's shop, and you never mention about this before! Laugh. You will find it behind the shop lots, people were a lot when we reached the place.

The place where the good food come from.
Spicy Pan Mee . RM3.40
Psych you out when you see those chili on the top? It's really spicy, I shouldn't mix them all. You can add an egg with RM0.80.
Crispy Pork Pan Mee . RM4
The crispy pork was not too crispy but the taste was perfectly okay! You can try this if you couldn't stand the Spicy Pan Mee.
Pan Mee Soup . RM3
They should put more minced pork, and we forgot to add an egg into it!
Dumplings . RM0.80 per piece

After-all, I still couldn't find the best Chili Pan Mee in Penang that can compete with Kuala Lumpur's one. Any idea where can I get it?

Bookaholic

Wonder when was the last time I step in a bookstore and grab myself some babies back to home. Immersed myself in the bound that full of books and flipping them with my fingertips truly make me feel good; that was my activity after my last working day for this week.

Snapshot in Borders.
Babies that going home with me that night, I really need to spend some times to finish all the books I have; got myself another diary!

We'll meet again

Taiwanese dessert is always my sister's favorite; she wouldn't miss a chance to try out Meet Fresh that newly opened in Gurney Plaza.
Even thou they already provide plenty of chairs and tables for dine in purpose, yet they are still insufficient for the crowds.
Similar to other dessert outlets, once the buzzer starts to blink, you will need to collect your dessert at counter; just they are in oblong.
Meet Fresh Signature Herb Jelly (Cold) . RM6.90
You have probably known that one of the main ingredient used in Taiwanese dessert will be Taro Balls; they are just great and chewy.
This set of dessert is actually come with cream to add an extra flavor to the dessert.
My portion of dessert after added the cream. Yum!
Q Mochi . RM8.90
This is something new to me, two different flavors of mochi topped with some kind of nuts; chewy enough yet they're just so-so.
Raymond came and joined us when we were about to leave, photo is blur as we were blocking people's way and sister simply took it.
Raymond, Adrian, me and Jennifer.

When I say dragon

Another Sunday outing with my sister and we were not went out for shopping; in fact, we went for food hunting. We spent quite a long time to choose a restaurant for our proper luncheon, cross out all western  and heaty food, at last we went to Dragon-i, Gurney Plaza.

Love the chopsticks. Remember what I said before? Gold and black are always a perfect match.
Titbits . RM2
The signature Shanghainese Steamed Meat Dumplings . RM9.80
Okay, they did increased the price from RM8 to now; it taste better when you eat with ginger, this is the only time I eat ginger slices.
Ramen with Fresh Assorted Seafood . RM18
The ramen is quite insipid, but that's our purpose of the day to cut down heavy food. The portion is big enough to make me burp.
Ramen with Hokkaido Scallops and Japanese Pork Loin . RM22
Look at the scallop! My sister gave me one to taste and it's awesome yet the pork loin is a little bit too salty.
Gotcha! I finished my meal before her and snapped a photo of hers; oops, the focus should be on the writing on the bowl, seems so nice.

New companion

Penang island is a great place, so many friends of mine came over to visit and hunt for food. Drool. Raymond and friends were the big guest for this weekend, and he got so many tour guide over here and it made the outing full of energetic and fun! Of course, food are the main thing for their trip, I wouldn't talk much on that side; again, I was up to Penang Hill again with them.

This was the first time I got up to the place at noon time, I prefer early in the morning; as I enjoy the icy-cold weather and fog.
The Owl Museum is opening soon, another chance for me to get up here; it's still under renovation.
This time, we rented a buggy to take a tour around the Penang Hill's track, it was good to have that Nepal guy as our tour guide, we did had fun along the way joking with him and chit-chatting. He claimed that this is the first time he met such a group of tourists. Laugh
Shaun was climbing on the tree, incited by the Nepal guy.
Group photo of the day, taken by the Nepal guy; met my new friends, Gynnie, Shaun and James, old friend Raymond and Adrian.
Night out with the gang again to Room, met another new friend, Gynnie's sister, Faye. Felt good when we saw a guy propose in public, and his girl say YES! They got our blessing and all of us in Room cheer for them.

. . . . . . . . . .

I promised myself, no more tearing after today!
