The day I leave them

While people still suffer for their internship, here's come my last day in this company, one week lesser if compare to them; our lecturer knew it, and say okay! The day didn't went smoothly either, many things to settle with, were so busy and when the day nearly came to an end, I just had some spare time to take photos with lovely people there. Guess what, I gonna miss faces over there.
With workers: Salim, Baby Miyoko and 'Weng Eng' (do not know how to spell his name).
Supervisor Eddie, Lay San and Su Ling.
We trainee, Ah Min, Seik Yi, Bie Bie and me with Miss Phang and Ah Lye. These people always make me laugh in the lab, I miss the laughter now. Too bad there were no time for me to go Industrial Lab to take photos with chemists, and here are some of the photos only. I might get some new photos when I back to this company next week? Say bye bye and that is really come to an end now.

The last dinner

So, we trainees had a great farewell dinner with our supervisors and colleagues at Ah Hao Seafood Restaurant, Bukit Tambun. Theme of the day was Red vs Blue, it was hard for me to find a piece of red shirt in my wardrobe, the piece I was wore on the night was not mine, it seemed weird on me. Laugh out loud. This would be the last dinner for us, unless we could plan and have another one.

Plate of peanut was served once we reached the place, waiting for our dishes; dishes were too much, and we couldn't finished all of it.
Spot the guy in black shirt? He is the salesman from KL branch, came here for their Friday meeting, and joined us for the dinner. I love my colleagues here, they are nice and friendly; so do my supervisor. Laugh.

Back to 70's century

Bon Odori falled on the same day too, but I went to have a great dinner instead of going there; sorry for didn't met up my colleagues there, they were heading back to home when I just wanted to rush there. Dined at Little Cottage at Burma Road, they have another branch nearby my secondary school where I went there before with my ZooIsCute's buddies. The flowery wall paper make the shop looks vintage and the ambiance is so comfy with the songs they play. A good place if you feel to have a lazy feel and ease dinner.

Mushroom soup.
Baked bread with butter; the butter can melt easily when you placed it in the bread.
Creamy spaghetti.
Mushroom chicken, and this is just so-so; we sat near the window that makes me feel like I were in France.
The Beatles in Hard Rock Hotel.

Had a night stroll at the Hotel, seeing beautiful treasures that they display at the lobby; feel to immerse myself in this wonderful night and hoped that Sunday never comes. I love my day, the day full with old style life and vintage goods.

When there's a Moon and Tree

The reason that I love my cosy hometown that much is because it always bring out the tinge of heritage, arts and crafts, of course I also like the people around the places. Started off my day accompanied my mummy to wet market to get some pieces of daily-things, and I realized that I had such a long time didn't step my feet into crowdy market in a beautiful morning like this.
With my curiosity, I went to MoonTree47 afterwards; ever heard about this place? A place that set up by three friends which own different dream, when the chance crossed by, they mass their dream together and that's how this shop was born with a concept of: homestay, cafe and art gallery. I'll let my photos do the talking, showing how I spent my noon time at this lovely cafe.

The design is more to old concept, showing the romantic and old feel of Penang island, and they used recycle things in their little sanctuary. Through the patio, you can peep the beautiful sky and cloud, enjoy a cuppa of drink will be a good relaxation for you.
You'll see little wooden adornment like windmill, birdy, flowers... lay in many hidden places, mostly in the pots.
Each table have their own design for you to choose, to suit your mood of the day; and these pillows make me think of Delicious.
Favourite photo for the day, I see 60-70 century from this view; it will be better if the umbrella change to the paper one.
Cheese Omelette with breads, oranges and banana; pieces of tomatoes are cook together with the eggs.
French toast filling with bananas between two slides of wholemeal bread, topped with butter and honey.
Scrabble! Had fun with it to kill my time there, lots of games are also provided, our old-time game.
The couple that I couldn't kept my eyes off them, I drowning in the romantic environment because of the rhythm he played.
Meet Marilyn Monroe, the picture; as I said, they used recycle thing to make thing special.

Remember when we were still kids, the owner of the grocery shop kept their money in the milk powder tin, hanging on the roof, and pull down with the help of a wheel? Gotcha! They have the same thing too, so old-style. If you read until here, I want to thank you for your patient as too many words and photos I shared here. Yet, the story haven't end here, I want to talk about why they named it as MoonTree47. This lovely cafe is located at the Jalan Muntri, so they used the partial tone of it to make it into Moon Tree, and 47 is the shop number; simple but cool. I wish to stop at this place again, how about you?
