把燕窝当糖水的夜晚

终于又要继续PO我的合艾之旅啦，有点抱歉的是我拖了这样久还是没能把它完成（大概有半年了吧，呵呵）。续在水上市场找吃后，我和笨蛋决定回到旅店休息一下，感觉自己不敌年轻时候的我（其实还是很年轻的说），对我们来说旅行时应该要有适当的休息才能让自己玩得更尽兴，旅行就是要放轻松看世界，而不是累垮了身子啊。看完了一部卡通片（好吧，我们是老小孩）又往Lee Garden那出发去。

因为上一次跟家人的合艾之旅没吃到燕窝，所以这次就带着必吃的心情来到东方燕窝，誓死都要像土豪似的拿燕窝来漱口（开玩笑啦）。其实在那附近也有几间别的燕窝店面，但感觉这里的要大间一点而且又方便，所以就决定在这品尝我人生的第一碗燕窝（如果平时的Brands燕窝不算的话）。这里除了燕窝，当然还是会有鱼翅和煮炒的菜肴，很多人都选择在那吃午晚餐，就只有我们是专门来吃燕窝的。

点完餐后，服务员很好的递上了人参茶，是免费的噢，还不错喝。忘了告诉你们说这里的服务员都会用华语沟通啊，不过真的这么幸运碰到不会华语或福建话的，就点菜单上的照片给他看就行啦；每一个菜色或燕窝都会有照片的！

我们点了一碗价格500泰铢的血燕来共享，因为感觉普通的燕窝真的有点太普通了，当然这里还是会有其他燕窝的选择，要多便宜或多贵的都有啊。他们还一同附上了白果，龙眼和蜜枣，我个人觉得还蛮值得的，而且还不用付服务税呢。我们点的是冷燕窝，但第一口喝下去竟然是热的，本来还纳闷为什么服务员搞错了呢，老板娘看到了我的疑惑就跟我说冰都在碗底，要捞了捞燕窝才会冰啊。呵呵，还好我没有去询问服务员让自己丢面子。建议要先喝几口纯燕窝才来加你们想要的蜜枣等，加了那些料后燕窝喝起来就稍微的甜些，还是不错喝的啦。我感觉燕窝就跟我们的糖水一样，就多了那些燕窝丝的口感；所以就见仁见智吧，如果不想浪费钱在这也行，但我想说反正又蛮便宜的就来试一试也不错嘛。

就2天的行程都拖了半年，我在想今年年尾一个礼拜的曼谷之旅会拖到几时啊。| 摇头 |

Birthday Celebration at Spoon Cafe . G Hotel Kelawai

I'm kinda MIA for almost 2 months now, was really no mood to face the screen after my work so I neglected here which I shouldn't be. Glad that I willing to face the screen now on this day to make my blog alive again. Let's talk about the month I love the most throughout the year, April. Normally people will love their birthday month than others, I love December too as it means the year is going to renew again, we can finally forget anything bad that happen (if any) and start our aim again. Hmmm. 

Chinese red eggs that cooked/made by mum, surely will get it in pairs each year and I share them with BenDan this year. I never throw out a party on my birthday as I know this is the day where my mum suffered a lot to get me out; so what we did were to have dinner together with my parents and I celebrated my birthday together with my dad's as we are just 5 days different in the month. 

As of my love, he brought me to have dinner at Spoon Cafe that located inside G Hotel Kelawai, and this property is just newly open I think early of this year. This was actually a surprise for me but I don't know why I always get the hunch on what he is up to, so no surprise for me this year (but the birthday pressie is really a surprise for me tho) but we are okay with it, we are the kind of couple that don't really enjoy big surprise. Thank you BenDan for the dinner!

We made our reservation 2 weeks before my birthday, and we found out that diners on that night were not much maybe because of this place is still new. The good thing about less diners was the waiter let us choose where we want to be seated, so we got our seats next to the French window and got ourselves the rainy nightview during dinner. 

Forgive me that I didn't mention that Spoon Cafe served buffet dinner (and brunch buffet only on Sunday) and the theme on that day was Latino Night Buffet Dinner which I don't see the theme anymore in their website. They changed the theme somehow, but still I think this is no harm, all you need to do is call for reservation and ask for the theme if you really care. The dishware in Spoon Cafe is in bronze-like, which is quite surprise me and the whole environment is mainly in earth color which I feel so cool to me. Plain ice or warm water is served and you may add on RM45 per person to get free-flow of house beer or wine, other beverages are chargeable as well. 

Almost same like other buffet dinners, they do have several corners for you to stuff your stomach, I remembered that the dessert corner is the place I went the least. They do have chocolate fondue that you will scream out loud if you are chocolate lover. I love the way they 'store' their main dishes with heavy ceramic cover which I found in nowhere. Barbecue corner is available too but too bad the choices for you to pick are limited, I guess it is because of the theme. 

I got myself the mushroom clear soup which I found it quite special, but I only finished the diced mushrooms and chickens as I need extra space for the food instead of the clear soup. Some dishes that I love the most that night are roasted duck slices (this is heavenly good), pan grilled fish with tomato salsa, honey roasted potatoes (I always have a thing with potatoes) and the Gambas Pil Pil (prawns that cooked with chilli and garlic). Overall, it is quite good and the service are great as well; the waiter gave us 20% discount that night due to the newly opening I guess.

让人期待已久的水上市场

之前参观寺庙时有提到天气不是很好，而且还开始下了点雨；真的还蛮担心这个水上市场会这样就泡汤了，还好老天爷还是蛮眷顾我俩的，前一分钟的乌云密布在后一分钟统统都不见了！因为水上市场很拥挤，所以我们所能拍到的照片不是很多，就分享几张我觉得还可以的照片吧，我想日后如果我再重游此地（我说的就是来临的五月份），应该不会带着宝贝相机亮相了吧，只会乖乖的把它收在包包里。

我们到达那里还蛮早的，在太阳还没下山游市场是一件很煎熬的事，而且又会出现人挤人的情况；所以我会建议大家要很果断的决定自己想要买/吃的东西，把所有要的东西都买齐了就赶紧找阴凉的地方慢慢享用才是上策。

笨蛋的最终目的就是这包鹌鹑蛋，还直说吃到它真的什么辛苦或劳累都值得了，可以再夸张点。其实一整排的船只卖的东西都大同小异，同一样食物你会发现会有几只船正在卖着的，价钱也是最多相差个1-2泰铢，所以真的没必要货比三家的。

在水上市场最畅销的莫过于卖水的，大家都是冲着它有可爱又便宜的杯子来的，一杯才25泰铢，如果杯子是有盖子的就是30泰铢一杯。喝完后，杯子还可以拿回家用呢，太便宜了啦！上一次我们买了两杯，结果带回家把它变成笔筒；所以这次我就没买杯子啦，就买个纸杯的椰水，没记错的话，应该是20泰铢一杯（不是很值得啦）。

除了煎炸的食物，我们还找到了我们最爱的寿司，选择虽然不是很多但胜在它一个只卖5泰铢，超便宜的啦你要去哪找啊。特别的是他们不是沾芥末吃，而是沾美奶滋和酱油吃的；本来我们还觉得怪怪的，但是吃起来还真的不错，有另一种风味。

那里除了水上市场，其实旁边还是会有陆上的市场，有卖吃的，穿的，用的，范围比水上市场来得大。我们在那看到了这档卖烤鱿鱼的，卖相不错，里面好像是塞满了饭（应该是没错），就买了一个。价钱是根据鱿鱼的大小而定的，我们买了个中等的才70泰铢，还不错吃，蛮有嚼劲的。

不懂是累了还是什么的，我们没什胃口，就只吃那几样就觉得饱了，后面的时间就在附近走走。临走前拍了这么的一张我自己觉得还不错的照片，哈哈。

很多人问我是不是以后都换成华语PO文，当然不是。是看心情啦，主要还是会用英文的。

在合艾观拜寺庙去吧

好吧，我承认最近真的有点懒惰PO文，就觉得工作后不想对着电脑，感觉上我的眼睛越来越无神了啊，大又美丽的眼睛好像离我越来越远！难得现在心情不错，就来继续我的合艾游记吧，再多两个月又要去那里了，但是去年的游记都迟迟还未完成，哈哈。

一路上，导游大哥就一直说个不停，一直问我们怎样安排第二天的行程，说可以找他当导游，因为认识了，还说价钱可以再便宜一点。但既然我不是第一次到合艾了，想说去的地方又蛮方便的，所以就拒绝了导游大哥的推销；其实当导游还蛮辛苦的，竞争力又强，所以才会一直跟游客搭话联络感情以便有更多的生意。

到合艾参观寺庙，因为路途的关系，导游通常都会先载我们到最远的寺庙参观；既然这一次我们没打算到Songkhla地区的寺庙，所以导游最只载我们到同一地区的寺庙参观（从最高的寺庙到最底的）。

我们的第一站就是到四面佛寺；要到那里有两个方法，第一就是驾车上山到达，第二就是坐缆车啦。如果是自行驾车的朋友，你们可以直接驾车去到四面佛寺，至于跟导游车的朋友，导游大哥都会载游客乘坐缆车，票价来回一人是200泰铢。从这一端要到四面佛寺的那一端只有两辆缆车（来回各一辆），所以得排队等候，如果人数少，工作人员就会安排你们跟另一家人合乘一辆缆车。像我们俩就省去了很多等候的时间，直接可以越队跟也是人数少的游客合乘缆车。

这就是四面佛寺啦，我们很幸运当天看到有人来还愿，请了庙内的舞蹈员跳还神舞，本来我们还以为发生了什么事情呢，因为看到有很多人聚集在四面佛寺里头。有很多游客都会特地来到四面佛许愿，记得当愿望实现后，一定要来还愿。还愿的方法很简单，可以订造石象供奉四面佛，或者也可以捐赠石椅等方法；详情都可以询问寺内的工作人员。

坐了缆车回来后，直接前行就可到达站佛寺；最瞩目的就是站立于中央的金铜佛像，在还没有上山时我们在山底下远远就可以看到佛像了。不懂是偶然还是什么的，我两次到达这里都是乌云密布，这一次还下起了毛毛雨，我们都非常担心傍晚的水上市场会泡汤。

我们大约参观完站佛寺后就赶紧到观音菩萨寺参观，说也奇怪，到了观音寺后雨也跟着停了（从站佛寺到观音寺不到一分钟），所以我们就决定在这里逗留比较久。除了顶楼种种的佛像，底楼也有观音庙，里头摆放的是八仙的肖像。

在观音庙的斜对面也有这一座小庙，入口有着一张大大的龙口，在网上查询到说不能在龙口下合照，泰国人觉得这样会很不吉利。也因为知道了这个传说，还我参观这座庙时都非常谨慎，深怕犯了什么禁忌；但我们还是看到了很多游客一直拍照，不知者不罪，我想也没什么的吧。进入龙口里头也有几座的佛像，蛮壮观的。

因为我们俩没打算许愿的，所以参观寺庙的时间非常短，连导游大哥也吓到了，还一直跟我们说：慢慢来没关系，他可以等我们的。哈哈。当然我们该参观了还是参观完了，接着就要到笨蛋一直期待的水上市场啦！

时间好像过得很快似的...

Vday at Uncle Albert's Traditional English Fish and Chips

Was planning to have New Year Eve dinner at Uncle Albert's last time, but too bad they do not allowed us to make reservation on that day; tried walk-in on that day after our work and the queue scared us off. This is why we left this restaurant for our vday celebration; not really a celebration, we just wanted to have dinner like normal day. I don't fancy for fine dinning, so does BenDan, I just don't like the environment where I can't really laugh out loud when I feel to, nah not really but I prefer normal restaurant or cafe where we will get more freedom to do anything like a boss. 

We went there one day before the vday, just to avoid the crowd and crazy traffic; my actual vday was to have dinner with my parents. Don't judge me with this, I like it this way. Most of the diners prefer to have their outdoor seats than indoor, this explain why the indoor looks empty. We chose to have sofa seats than outdoor, to prevent mosquitoes that might ruin our perfect dinner. Laugh. 

I don't really know all types of fishes that named on the menu (except salmon and dory fish), luckily they do have the fish dictionary corner to help you out. Our eyes blinking when the waiter handed us the dinner special set that cost only RM37 that including soup of the day, main course and complimentary Iced Lemon Tea. I like the soup of the day, not the mushroom soup nor broccoli soup, but it tasted like one kind of vegetable soup, pretty good I would say, no photos shown here by the way. Paiseh ah. 

Tempura natural squid rings | RM15

Snack that we had before the main course. It is so chewy and worth a thumb up, the Thai-style sweet and sour sauce enhance the taste of squid rings. Perfect match. It doesn't taste right when we dipped it with normal chili sauce. 

Uncle Albert's Battered Grouper

I don't really like to have Fish and Chips (unless I sick of chicken that day) as most of the restaurant served dory fish, nothing wrong with the dory fish, I just don't really like the 'texture'. Here, they provide different kind of fishes to be served, so I go for grouper and the portion is real huge although it can't really tell from the photo. This is heavenly good and the grouper is so fresh. I will definitely go back for more of this! So yummy. 

Grilled Fillet of Fresh Salmon

BenDan had the grilled salmon which the portion is also quite huge for the price we paid, the grilled salmon is served with grilled vegetables and mashed potato. Wonder why the mashed potato looks so dry? They do served the homemade mushroom cream sauce which can be pour on top of the mashed potato or on the grilled salmon. The salmon is well cooked, and still juicy. 

BenDan was then surprised me with the fruit cake from Brix & Baume which he had ordered earlier. Glad that he still remembered I once say I only only accept mille crepe or fruit cake. Thank you for everything. ♥
