My Chinese New Year always not that liveliness and busy, mostly met up all my relatives on day one and ended up we got nothing to do on the rest of the days. What I can do was just hang out with my parents and friends, and today I went to have dinner with parents.

Went to Gurney Plaza where most of the shops are closed; mum suggested to eat Nando's, I was actually just had it a week ago. Laugh.

Now they have this little bowl to put all the sidelines, although I prefer don't have, easier to engorge my portion of meal. Munch.

Love my night with Ee Kee and Poh Khoon; were just sitting in McDonald's and playing Where Is My Water until late night.

♥ First day of Dragon year

First day of Chinese New Year, we actually did the same thing like last few years; went to visit my aunties and uncles to get angpow. Laugh. This year, weather was not that broiling like last year, a good thing; Gan was at Penang to visit his relatives and met up with me.

The hot spot during Chinese New Year always goes to Kek Lok Si Temple, couldn't imagine that I was really went up there with Gan at the very first day to squeeze myself in the huge crowd of people. Parked at the half way and we walked up to the temple.

Pots of flowers which placed outside the hall, most of them were bought by people and they wrote names on the pot to make a wish.

Gan was really enjoyed his photo session at this beautiful place and he even brought his tripod together with him. Laugh.

Photo of the day: just simply took a snap on it but came out as a good photo instead. Whenever I go there, I'll climb up this pagoda and I got to see the night view of Penang, sometimes it interspersed with some fireworks which make it even more beautiful.

♥ Sawatdee Kaa

Sawatdee Kaa~ Finally paid a visit to Khuntai, an authentic Thai restaurant famous with their Thai food; which I think their food had been localized to fit our Malaysian taste-buds. Met up with Ee Kee and off we went to this restaurant which situated besides her house.

We couldn't make any reservation and we found our seats just next to the beach, we had good view, sea breeze and nice food all in one.

Three of us spent around RM60++ for nice food, and people were still a lot when we left the restaurant. Was then met up with Chee Yan and Khor to watch The Viral Factor; first thought the movie was just okay, but the ending is quite good and touching. Love my night and I can't wait for the Chinese New Year now.

Been heard of Table Twenty-Three for quite some times, and only visited them now. Were dumped by friends, so we chose to have great dinner and tried to compensate ourselves. Laugh. They used to have great deal at Ezivoucher, faced the full house problem due to the overwhelming responses. We just tried our luck without doing any reservation, hoped to get a seat in it; we reached there and ta-da, no people in the restaurant, we made ourselves as the first two customers; it was like we book the whole restaurant.

Heart the white chandelier, it makes the restaurant seems so classic.

The lovely wall sticker, it caught my sight once I entered the restaurant, just love the simpleness of it and the Eiffel Tower.

They hang lots of Europe photos on wall, love the reddish double decker bus the most; and I have a postcard with the same photo too.

Mushroom soup with garlic bread, but the soup is not dense enough, I expected more from them actually. Laugh.

They closed their upstairs since customers are not many during Chinese New Year period; we did explored it when the girl brought us to the washroom. If there's next time, I'll definitely go for seats on upstairs, it's even cozier and warmer with sofa and piano.

Not to forgot the wine bar and cellaret that full with good wines. The bucket that full with wine corks make me gone crazy; I wish to collect corks with nice pattern on it. Anyone please donate some for me, please? Laugh.

Thinking of where to spend your lazy and broiling Sunday? Here I have a suggestion, where me and my friends just had a random outing at the evening last week. Were only planned for dinner at first, yet ended up went to Fruit Garden for their fruit ice before the dinner; my first time over there, seriously. It seems to located at outskirt of town, a cozy place I would say to hang out with pals.

Surrounded with pots of plant, and along the way you can see people have their jogging and exercise there.

Five of us had our third round after the dinner, the place that we used to go - Straits Quay Starbucks. They simplified their tissue paper, for go green effect? Like we always do, we crapped for no reason and how we wished that we don't need to work on next day.

A parcel was waiting for me quietly and patiently while I was working at my company; my sister was the one who seems more excited than me and waited me back to open the parcel. Laugh. Okay, I also felt the excitement after that because it's from oversea.

I was so shock when I saw the little Danbo robot lying in the box, total is two; it's so cute and stupid at the same time. Smile.

My daddy likes the little thingy as well, once I took them out from the boxes, he is the one who touch and play with them. There is a switch to light up their eyes, a platform for them to stand and I still couldn't think of the function of the black box, yet.

Been procrastinated some of my pending post(s) for almost a week and now I'm back to share my life and stories with you guys. Was so busy throughout the week as too much outing for me, I wish I could have more time for myself; or more rest time for me. Laugh.

Always wanted to have fine breakfast which I didn't had one since long ago, and we finally paid the visit to Soul Kitchen a week back. I heart all the cafe along the Muntri Street, one of the last few heritage building lined-street left in Penang; because each of them carry a different sense of relaxation and love. Soul Kitchen is an Italian trattoria where founded by a Germany-Malaysian consort.

The interior has a casual, chic look that is both hip and cozy at the same time. My fault because did not have much photos of their interior. It filled with wooden tables and chairs, tiny touches of eco friendly decor and they play some nice colors in their trattoria.

Like poeple always say that: Simple is nice! and I love it when they handed me a piece of paper and a rock; here's come the menu.

Their menu is actually written on the board, placed at the counter area; the piece of paper only have the list of their drinks, special no?

My coursemate, Ka Chun aka Lao Ban was in Penang to have a early celebration for his birthday with us; to have a different celebration he said. Daniel only joined us during dinner time and we went to Straits Quay to hunt for nice food, ended up dine in Agua.

Meanwhile, saw the lion dance performance at the center court.

Heart the cafe counter and it's good to see all the wines allocate nicely over there.

The deco of the restaurant; this round I prefer to sit inside than to face the sea.

Paella . RM42.90 per person (minimum 2 portions)

Agua signature authentic rice dish from Valencia served with seafood, chicken and pork. We need to wait for around 30 minutes before the dish is served. It is really special and heavenly food is worth to wait, isn't it? The lemons enhance the taste for sure.

Moroccan Fish with Charmoula . RM36.90

Pan fried fish with couscous and topped with charmoula sauce. Photo is blur but I was so lazy to take another one; bear with me please. At first I thought that the couscous is rice and they blended it, laugh; quite special and I love the asparagus!

Since it was a celebration, sort of; we were then went to Delicious to have dessert, and we owned the big table outside the restaurant.

Had a late dinner with family at Bar.B.Q Plaza, Gurney, since sister have the voucher; was my first time to be in there, I know I'm outdated sometimes. Although it was quite late, people were still a lot and all of them were busy barbecue-ing their food.

Finished work and it was dinner time; was planned to have nice hawker food nearby my house but ended up went to LK Western Food since the stall that we wanted to eat didn't open. Mostly, I'll only call for the delivery instead of going to eat in the restaurant.

Ee Kee and Uwan were attached with me that night; maybe we should go to Straits Quay which was more happening. But then it was really great to meet all my colleagues that and hope my friend really enjoy the night. Was really tired after my Christmas Eve's celebration yet I was still out to meet with Pei Wen and spent some times with her. Another Zoo Is Cute gathering during our Christmas Eve although not much of them can make it, yet it was still on going with those that can make it. Another night with them to Starbucks, Straits Quay to have a sip; we wouldn't have night out next week in this type of gang since Uwan is going to Langkawi, finally have chance to be an obedient daughter. ♥ Two in a row

Watched 2 movies in this week, one on Monday and another one on Thursday; it was a good beginning and ending for my working days, for this week. I used to go cinema every week, yeah, every week, now I had cut down the frequency tho. Yet, it's good to have nice movie with my gang together, thanks to Ee Kee and Uwan again to be my accompany. Smile.

1. New Year's Eve

The first time I watch the trailer of this movie, I was like totally attracted by the movie and their song; and I was telling myself that this is a must-watch-movie! All the little stories inside the movie really got my heart away, the people and words are making me cried non stop in the theater. Laugh. Now, I'll always remember that second chances don't expired until midnight and I'll give the chance.

That's what New Year's is all about: getting another chance.

A chance to forgive, to do better, to do more, to give more, to love more.

And stop worrying about 'what if' and start embracing what would be.

2. Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows

I still remember that I also watched the first Sherlock Holmes near Christmas time 2 years ago, it was a coincidence or what? Quite okay with this move yet I still prefer the first one more, as they had more inspection scene in the movie. Good movie tho.

♥ Genting with family

Keep procrastinate to update this post about my little getaway to Genting Highlands; roughly show some photos here since everyone is quite familiar with this place. Was departed early in the morning on Friday, with my family and landed there at noon time. Weather up there was extremely cold and bad, rain most of the time. As I said, this is not a good season to go there, plus, people were a lot due to the school holidays. Smack! Met up with my cousin and her family, and checked in to our cozy room for 2 nights.

Was dined at this place for their buffet dinner, eat till you drop! I really did, grabbed lots of sashimi and really enjoyed their taste.

The interior of the restaurant nearby the entrance; it looks great with all the antiques collocated on the shelf.

Two little nephews can't wait to take photo with me while I was still chewing my food. They are cute but naughty!

Carousel insides the Times Square; just heart the feel it gave me, warm and merry.

Had a gondola ride with sister, felt like we were at Venice at that moment. Really fed up to queue and wait for so long at each station.

Just played a little bit at theme park because the weather was really bad, yet it's quite fun to walk and play in the fog.

Beryl's Chocolate Wonderland, just had photo shooting inside and came out with empty hand, I only like dark chocolate, indeed.

Dinner at Kenny Rogers, this is a must for my sister, like a routine; every time she go Genting will dine at this place. Weird.

Guess what? Was really met up with Jeremy at Genting, and finally he took out his D90 which he had nearly dumped aside. Crapped a lot and we did something indecently, okay, it was just me that made the thing become worst. I accidentally spilled his Ice Chocolate on him, and he is so lucky to get another free drink and went shopping afterwards for his pants. Laugh. Spot his spectacle!

Heart the little note from the salesman, a little Thank you and smiley face can really make up your day.

Had Starbucks continuously for 2 days, one with my sister, and another one with Jeremy. Wouldn't have this for few weeks I guess.

Kind of like this photo of mine, narcissistic me. Because it doesn't look like me, with the fake spectacle again that might make me look younger, perhaps. That's how I spent my weekends, so what's yours?

Never thought that I would out for supper that late during my working days, after 12am. Dated by 2 lovely people and actually today is Ee Kee's birthday; it was kind of a birthday celebration with her. Most of the cafe were closed and the last choice for us was McDonald's, chewed our burger at Gurney Drive and enjoyed the sea breeze again. Was so tired when I went to work on the next day, not enough sleep I guess, 3 of us were the same. Noted: Today is also my lovely housemate - Tehooo's birthday!!! Smile.

If you want to enrich your life by learning up something new, what would you choose? I also couldn't think of what I like, how about instrumental? Got a message from Ee Kee, and I were out with her and Uwan, the trio again, to look for classes that have all the things we want to learn. Too bad, all the classes are follow the schooling time, will only register next time; if we could find a suitable one.

They brought me to this US Pizza, which located one street away from Gembira Parade, somewhere near residential area. Small reminder here, they have promotion on Tuesday, you can get 2 regular pizza for only RM28. Oops, too bad, we went on Monday.

♥ The new trio

Different from other Sunday which I always rest at my home sweet home, today I decided to hang out with my friends. We finally make it to Penang Bowl, the place has a new face after the renovation; look fresh and I like it! Was so excited as I'd a month didn't touch the bowling ball and I miss the sound where the ball hit the pins. Inside my heart, I gave myself a target and hope for some improvement.

All of our score are quite okay, and I really happy with my performance that day. Laugh. We went to Straits Quay after dinner, Chee Yan and Khor didn't follow us; they had other plan I guess. In love with the deco and I realized that Christmas is around the corner!

Saw these books at the flea market, our friend, Uwan actually bought them and it was the reason that made us gone crazy that night.

We 'studied' those books at the noisiest Library ever, which was just opened on Thursday. I went once before at The Curve, Kuala Lumpur with coursemates; this make me feel that this Library at Straits Quay is a little bit too modern; yet it's very cosy if we sit outside and let the sea breeze run over our bodies. Never care our image when we are at outside, hugged a pillow and sit crossed-leg. Relax.

Uwan, staring at the girl; might not satisfied with her technique when poured the beer for us.

Whenever I look at alcoholic drink, I'll miss the time at Langkawi with coursemates; the craziest trip. But tonight, we trio also enjoyed ourselves to the fullest. Trifled a lot and we can came out with many things to crap with. Love mixing up with both of them.

Nothing to do after I woke up in the morning, and I finished a movie - Love You You; I like the story and felt touched although some might said that the movie is not that nice. Couldn't think of a nice place in Butterworth to have fun with, so we were hunted for lunch first; somewhere near my sister's house, the 7 Village Noodle House, a place that only sell Koay Teow Th'ng and ra-men noodle.

Super hot weather; this 7 Village is quite big, divided into 2 parts, one with air-conditional and another is with fans only.

Just realized that all their decoration got the 7 sign, their signature maybe. Peep the clock, look nice!

Was then went to Jusco located at Bukit Mertajam, I still remember the time when I went there with some of my coursemates during our first year Hari Raya break. Do you guys still remember? Shop for some time before we went off to Auto-City, again.

Finally have my first Tutti Frutti, out-dated; I feel that it's nothing special. I like the self-service part, happy to top my frozen yogurt.

Gone crazy when you see this scene? I saw those sport cars, 45 of them, and I understand why all the boys love them so much, because they are really beautiful. Before had my family outing, I was out to have cheap and great Japanese food again at Matsuki Japanese Restaurant, my second over there, read my previous post about this restaurant over here. To avoid the full-house situation again, we went there earlier.

So ended up we were the first customers over there. Laugh. They got the Christmas tree deco in the restaurant, can't wait!

You should have knew it, for his favorite sport since he missed it once last year, so this time he grabbed the chance and joined the Kayuh Lasak Penang Mountainbike Jamboree 2011; the event take-off from Balik Pulau. Too bad, the God is pouring water at that area during the ride, it made the ride become more exciting and dangerous.

His soulmate - Scott Scale SL, for only 899 grams; lightest bike that everyone drooling for. They look so muddy yet cool after the ride. Quoted from him: everyone will drool when they look at our bikes. Laugh. This is true, indeed. See you when I went down to KL.

Our life always keep up with change plans, this time I dumped my sister on Saturday just for my big guest from Kuala Lumpur, Jeremy Teh. Was so nervous as I couldn't think where should I bring him, at the end we went to some places where we did talking more than visiting. I'm a lousy host. Never went to RedBox or any other karaoke center after-since I came back from Kuala Lumpur; kinda miss the feeling when rocking the music together with pals in the room. So, I was out with friend to RedBox although my throat not really in a good condition. Laugh.

This was the first day of December, another month that I love other than my birthday month. Laugh. Yet, today ain't a good day tho, one of our engineer left our company, and we had a small farewell for him. Just a simple one, at the end of the day.

The farewell held at our cafeteria, food were served on the table when we got down. They even prepared big piece of cake, well, I didn't had them as my throat call me not to; did I mention before that I'm not really into chocolate cake? Giggle. That's too sweet for me.

♥ Tug-of-War

Today was a sunny Sunday, so me and Yong Sin decided to follow our plan, went to Penang Beach Carnival 2011 at Golden Sand Resort Hotel, early in the morning. There have plenty of games for us to take part or you can also just have a walk; open from 7am until 9pm.

Windy but broiling weather, and I become darker after I stand under the sun for more than 5 hours.

Met new friends over there, which come from Bukit Mertajam, another side of Penang; we decided to join the Tug-of-War, randomly. Eight of us team up and I was chosen as their team leader. Photo taken during our registration for the game, medals for winner.

When the game started, we just found out that all of other teams are professional Tug-of-War players, they even have a coach stand besides them and give command. Also, we are the only Chinese team for both male and female group, feel proud indeed. Proud to be the support of my team members, be the last person holding the rope and pull them back as hard as I can. No photo available. Laugh.

Was exhausted after the games, played several rounds in a row. First time get myself a bottle of Red Bull after the game, oops, two of it.

We got ourselves as 2nd-runner up, proud to be that! Although I got scratches on hands and legs, a lot. Sat on rope and conquered it.

Members of the team, from different age range; we got medals, trophy and RM150 cash; I grab the trophy back with me after the ceremony. Didn't have energy to take part in other games, I can't feel my feet after-all. Laugh. A very good experience for me, and happy to meet up lovely people on the beach.

Had dim sum together with my family, was a late breakfast for us, so we called it as brunch; really didn't had lunch afterwards. Bought tickets for our next month's family trip, will meet up with whole bunch of relatives there; but might miss a chance to meet my darling roomie. Sad. Was then dated with my sister, just feel to have a walk at Straits Quay with her, on this lazy and easy Friday.

The lovely period is coming soon, so we got to see all the Christmas deco in the mall and they are beautiful. Took plenty of photos.

Jingle bell, jingle bell!

There is a newly open dessert house call Bing Bing Taiwanese Dessert House at Level 1. Bought the voucher few days ago and now we went to have a visit. Chose a place where we can sat cross-legged on the colorful floor and cozy seats, cute isn't it? They serve dessert like Snowflakes, just they sell also bubble tea and others. They open at 3pm and we were the first customer in the dessert house.

Just feel to show this to you guys, thanks to my juniors for that.

You'll get this after placed your order, until they call the name on the medal, then your dessert is ready to pick up. We got Green Tea.

Taro balls! My all time favorite after-since I tried them at Snowflakes. This is the only place where you can get to eat them other than Snowflakes, I guess. Mine one with two toppings worth RM5.90 and three topping for RM7.90; but we just need to pay RM7.90 because we got the voucher. Giggle. Not really like creamer on the toppings, we prefer honey, or just the original is already more than enough.

Was back to my expertise area for a day, really happy to be surrounded with different kind of scents, a place where I know them, and they know me too. Spotted a brand new luggage bag from Aramis, I always like their bag. Smack. Sister outing again at this lovely Saturday, it's good that I still can see her quite often and we had lunch together; will have more outing together with her soon, and also my brother-in-law. So after we had our lunch, we went to do free facial which we saw their promotion at MyDeal.com. That's the place that I went last few weeks before my sister's wedding, Ortus.

I was so lucky to get the first prize during the lucky draw session, grabbed back the products worth RM588+. Laugh. My sister was happy too as she can also use the products together with me; we have high interest towards their hydrating mask. Did some shopping at 1st Avenue and her turn to spend money, uncontrollable, but still in her budget I guess.

Finally Starbucks card reached Malaysia now! Wanted to grab the Christmas limited edition card, but they told us all were finished at weeks ago; only left the original one. I was like WHAT? and show them my woeful face. Giggle. Forced to get the original one, I feel that the design is just okay; nice because it's in transparent form. What are you waiting for? Go grab one for yourself and get a free drink.

Me at the night, of course I didn't wear that spectacle out with my friends; just a prop to take photo, and my sister own it. Outing with Wei Seong, Beng Tatt and Valen Ling, went to watch You Are the Apple of My Eye again; still like the movie, or even more. How do you spend your special day, 11/11/11? It sounds nothing special to me actually, just another off day of mine. Yet, I'm glad that I spent my time with Wei Seong again and nice movie we watched just now, You Are The Apple of My Eye. Touched.

The girl and boy in the movie are eye candies to a lot of people, which attracted many to watch it; me go for the story. Was really miss my study life when I watched the movie, while they're singing the graduate song. Ever regret something in your life? Our company is appointed by St. John Ambulance Penang to be the collection center and warehouse for Humanitarian Mission for Thailand 2011 and this event is on-going now. I'm one of the coordinator to help up this campaign, girl will only need to do simple task, while my team members which are all boys need to do tough job. Laugh. Longing for some time, and the day had came at last, I want to enjoy myself to the fullest and without thinking other thing. My accompany was back in Penang for his one week holiday, I wish to have that semester break too that I wouldn't have anymore.

Went up to Penang Hill and tried the new cable car; we named it as 'bullet train', reached on the top of the hill in less than 5 minutes. Different with other tourists, we didn't rent the car to bring us jazz around. We decide to walk by ourselves although it's quite far.

But we made a right decision, we had time to stop and take photos as we like; while they don't have. A must take photo when I go there.

The mailing box that caught our sight. Went for so many times, this is the first time I really snap on it.

Wei Seong, the guy who brings the sun back to Penang; rain didn't fall when we were out for the whole day, and the day before.

Stepped on the sand again! Standing on the beach, feeling the breeze over my body; this is good! Little sneak peak on his slipper on the right corner. So, as promised, we dated whole day long, even at the night, should more than 12 hours I guess. Great Saturday of mine.

My girl, PeiWen was in Penang again, couldn't miss the chance to meet up with her; I was like every 2 weeks will get to meet her up. Lovely. Together with Wei Wen and her siblings, we fivesome were struggled for quite a long time for a movie, and at last, we go for Don't Be Afraid of the Dark. Same thing happen when we wanted to have lunch, Winter Warmers for this time.

Not really have appetite that day, so I shared my food with my girl.

Busy for weeks, and finally the day had came; her wedding eve a.k.a the bachelor's night. Never thought that these days will reach us so fast, somehow I don't wish it ended so fast. Didn't get enough rest for whole day, just to help her set up all the thing, it was worth when I see all the things went well. Not much photos on me of course, I was the camera girl at the night, sob sob.

Sister and her besties gang, her sisters for the next day; oops, and Justin, one of the professional photographer.

The most important moment for a daughter and her parents, deep in their heart, I know they have mixed feeling other than happy.

Combing hair session, is a must during the night before wedding; hair need to be combed for several times, and each of them bring different special meaning. I might be weeping if it was me. Laugh.

Make myself so tired that I didn't apply any leave for my sister's wedding, I should have at least take one day after her wedding; sigh.

Temporary a D-series girl, had a little trial in my sister's car and this is the result. Laugh.

Went to have hair treatment at this moment, we hope to get rid of our frizzy hair, for awhile, and I like the result. Scratch head for our choice of dinner again, decided to have nice meal before she move out, like a date with her; out of sudden, I started to miss her.

Dined at Harvest Inn, my very first time over there and I like the all-in-white-design of the restaurant; comfy enough for me. Maybe because of its nice environment and reasonable food price, people are always a lot in the restaurant; best for gathering and party.

This was the last public holiday of my company, no more until next year; long wait again. Was away from virtual world for few days, kind of used to it, yet blogging is still a must for me. Laugh. Whenever me and sister have holiday, we'll be out for her wedding stuff.

So this time is the Beauty Centre, feel that her wedding will gonna make me poor for months.

She bought a vest for her hubby, his armature during the wedding day. Both of us spent a lot in Queensbay, and I added another outfit from Forever 21; lovely. Met up with Jhu babe when we had our tea time session, made a promise with her that we must hang out when we are free.

I like to have fine luncheon or dinner once awhile in a month, just to pamper myself for working so hard towards my life. Giggle. Went to Chicago Rib House at Gurney with Ling Ling for our lunch and do some talking, I haven't seen her for some time as well.

A family day out in Kuala Lumpur, was excited to show places and environment over here to them where I lived in this three years. Met up with Michelle and her family on the half way; excited! Our daddy were like knowing each other for long time; while we girls were chit-chatting, they did the same too. Was so lucky to grab a pair of shoes for myself, only that, I wish to have more actually. Laugh.

Finally made myself to this Tokyo Street in Pavillion, likey; didn't have much time in it, were rushed to meet up with uncle.

While waiting them at the roadside, a scene caught my eyes; saw a couple were doing their wedding photo shooting in the middle of the jam-packed road. Weird, but I like. Smile.

Before Chuk Leng fly to Germany, Yeam go back to his university life, me start my working life next month, we went to bowling together with Wei Seong that came back this weekend. That's was really a good game, wonder do I have chance to play with them again?

We were then went to Kopitan at Logan Heritage which comes from the fusion of the word kopitiam and kapitan. In line with the name, the menu serves local Chinese and Indian foods as well as Malay and western food at a reasonable price; yet the portion is little.

The day still raining which I hope it wouldn't during my graduation day; let's pray hard for that. Didn't expect to have a movie today, a sudden plan to watch Nasi Lemak 2.0 because we scare that it would be banned on next week, a film by Namewee.

Strongly recommend for all Malaysians, it's worth to pay for the ticket. Craving for nasi lemak after the movie, all the sambal spices seem great in the movie. Might grab myself a few packs of it soon.

I didn't have time on dramas since I back to my hometown, especially Taiwanese dramas; somehow I feel that Korean dramas are nicer, nearer to our reality. I prove myself wrong after watched this Love Keeps Going, finished it in 2 days; broke my own record. My mood is good when watching those handsome and pretty people in the drama, it's lovely to spend my day just to watch this drama.

A day back, we were all went to my sister's new house; their first house warming, the second one will be on this coming Saturday. Couldn't believe that I'm actually drove over to Butterworth, safely. Laugh. More photos about her house will only upload after the this week, now it's just a half-empty house. I just knew there are so many things need to do in the new house, and lots of taboo.

We were then went to a seafood restaurant to have our lunch, this was the first time I had meal with brother-in-law's family; was always at Bangi for my study. I couldn't believe that my sister is going to marry soon, and no more brawling in my house; gonna miss it.

Finally made myself to this little cozy place, Chai Diam Ma at Queen Street after heard of it for some times; another old school cafe.

The front door of it, can you get the feel they trying to tell?

The counter, all by handmade, they actually draw the picture; birdies all over the corners.

That's handmade part, you can grab them back if you find something you like; I spotted some necklaces.

I didn't meet Theng and Tien for like ages since last year I guess, all are so busy to hang out; we managed to made it this day since Theng were back for one week holidays. Planned to dine at Harvest Inn, but we forgot to make reservation, then we switched to Strait Quay.

Delicious at first, but we were in the waiting list and quite behind, we couldn't wait for it and changed to Bella Marino.

The weather is so crazy now, I always feel that I might fainted if I exposed to this weather for long time. However, it didn't stop us to visit the largest floating book fair in Penang now - Logos Hope although quite a number of people said that it's not worth to go.

Meet our beautiful cruise.

Saw the whole pail of tickets, imagine how many people visited the Logos Hope? It is only RM1 per entry.

We were invited to watch a video about the history of Logos Hope before continue our journey; sat on this little cockleshell.

Can't take my eyes off this little telescope, it reminds me of something about adventurous, something about being a dreamer; which I wished I were one. Stories on the wall are for us to read, and it becomes a very good spot to take photos with, historical wall. Laugh.

The book fair is quite small, yet these books are really cheap to own, although not much variety. Too bad I came out with empty hand, I couldn't found anything that suit me well; quite disappointed with this.

Happy Aidilfitri to my readers here. Bad weather was over and now the sun is hanging on the sky, big and bright; but it is just too hot for me. The best way to kill the gloomy mood of mine is to hang out, with sister; again accompanied her to get something for new house.

Dined at Kim Gary, her favourite, and we got the Cracker Staco for free; it is weird to mix crackers and food together, not my taste.

People were a lot at every single places, since they were started to prepare their mood for the coming feast. Idea popped up, we want to bowl at night! This is a sudden thought, convened friends on the spot yet we still had some spare time before the play.

Had our pit stop at Old Town before get going to fetch others.

First time to bowl at Sunshine Square, it is quite spacy if compare with the Penang Bowl, still I prefer to go for the latter; nicer for me.

Supper at Pelita nearby USM, hardly to find us a table in the crowd. Enjoyed the moment when we watched the fireworks together with all the people there; also, enjoyed talking with them, until late night nearly to 2am.

Felt fed up with the weather now, non-stop raining for whole day, and I was shivering all the time; my mood turned gloomy too. Sigh.

Dinner at CF Food Court nearby jetty, this weather didn't stopped people from eating nice food.

Not much nice movies to watch nowadays, so we just simply picked one - Spy Kids: All the Time in the World; and this movie is delivered in 4D. We didn't noticed it until we got our tickets, together with a sheet of Aroma-Scope. So, what is the 4D technology?

Scent! This is the first movie that allows people to smell odors and aromas from the film, you just need to rub the number when they appear on the screen. I was busied rubbing the card and I got all the odors, this amused me. Laugh. Jessica Alba is gorgeous in the movie yet the story line is too short and I feel it is just okay to watch with.

When night falls, one of my favourite street - Kimberley Street comes to live and you can find old-Penang style street hawker food along a stretch of this street. One of the stall didn't open when we reached there, the stall which sell koay teow th'ng; people say they serve nice noodle soup, but I like it at other place more, will post about it when I visit again. Yet, the side dishes they serve like the soy sauce chicken and braised chicken legs are awesome! I was there not for that ofcourse, instead I craved for the Koay Chap!

There's only one stall selling koay chap there, so you won't miss it, besides, nearby the stall will always have a huge crowd too. Ingredients they used are duck meat, pork coagulated blood, braised egg and various innards; this is the only place that I eat the innards, still, I didn't eat the pork coagulated blood. The best part is their self-made chili sauce, it is really special and taste good.

A shopping day with my sister, it was quite a good weather to go out today, and we got ourselves quite a number of treasures. Too bad, some of the items that I planned to get were sold out, I should get it once I saw them. Regret. Etude house is doing promotion and I bought a few pieces of mask, it's time to get my face condition better. Sometimes, I need something nice to pamper myself.

My another visit to Ang Hoay Loh this afternoon before throwing myself in the libraire environment; ordered the same dishes like last time. We didn't spent much time waiting our food to reach us this time, maybe it was because we went there during weekdays.

Next stop is Starbucks, Borders at Queensbay Mall, I nearly spent my whole day just to read on some books. Brought my tumbler together and use one less paper cup every time I go there, my little move to go green with them; I spotted nice cup!

Mid Autumn Festival is around the corner, people were queued up to get their mooncakes, I'm not really into it actually, I just like the egg yolk inside. Laugh. Love the new design of the Mango, look vintage isn't it?

Again, went to the fun park after the walk; this time we did played some simple games.

Along the way to Penang Airport, there is a shop named Joo Leong Cafe which is always famous with their toasted bread and half boiled egg. Everytime I go over there, I'll get to see a white spot car outside the cafe, it's belong to the owner of the cafe. Hoho. No parking lots for you, you can always spot the long stretched cars parking by the road side. Oh yeah, they closed on Monday.

2 Toasted Breads for RM2, you can sprinkle some sugar on the top and tip it into the half boiled egg.

Dating with my sister to go for our dinner at Shua Shua Le, Prangin Mall which famous with their Tom Yum. Both of us always cannot resist for their tom yum, you will get to smell the scent of it before you enter the shop compound. Although the price is getting more expensive than last time, yet it would be a good experience for you to try out. Didn't had much time for us to eat, so we didn't ordered the steamboat set, we just went for ala-carte.

Went to Adventist to look for dentist, not me, I was just a accompany; felt regret that I came out from there with empty hands, I should buy some bread which they famous with, smack. Decided to have Japanese food as our lunch when we read the article in newspaper, they served great food with a lower price. Matsuki Japanese Restaurant which located at Cantonment Road, off Gurney Drive.

I always passed by this restaurant, this was the first time I stepped into its land. The restaurant was full with office workers at this lunch hour, they did made their reservation before they came; so what we can do was wait for our turn, scanned their menu while waiting.

Grilled mackerel pike and fried mixed vegetables, all lunch set are served together with chawanmushi, miso soup and fruits.

Sukiyaki Set (Beef) . RM18

Mixed vegetable and beef cooked in claypot with sweet sukiyaki sauce, but you can also call them to separate the beef.

Lady Sushi . RM12

Selection of 5 pieces of raw fish topped on vinegared rice. Every set lunch also comes with a scoop of Haagen Dazs ice cream.

The restaurant is only open from 12pm to 2.30pm for lunch and 6pm to 10.30pm for dinner. I quite enjoyed myself over there, never stop craving for sushi. Laugh.

Good to meet up with one of my sister in university, she is back in Malaysia now and came to visit me together with her friend. We both had lunch at Sakae Sushi while waiting her friend to join us afterwards, no why, I just craved for sushi that time. Thanks. I spotted a bag in Forever 21, should I buy it? Watched The Rise of the Planet of the Apes at Queensbay Mall, still enjoyed using my student card to buy tickets, Laugh. Was amazed by the intelligence of the apes, although it might because of some boost up; there might have this type of ape in real life.

Funfair nearby the mall, not really interested with those games, but I like to see people have fun with that, I was there juts to share their enjoyment. An Indian lady was then tell me: Go play some games, it is easy to win! She won the Bingo and got her daughter a toy.
With the body shape I have, people always thought that I didn't eat supper at all; I try very hard not to, but I'm still eat in the midnight! I always tell them: I live to eat. Laugh. My all-time-favourite, the famous Air Itam Duck Rice; their business starts right after 11pm until 3am in the morning. A great place to go if you fancy good food in the midnight, I go few times in a month, crazily.

You need to queue up to place your order, and it's self service to get your rice to your table; we seldom seen a stall with signboards like these, Penang is definitely a interesting place. If you come here late, the duck might be sold out and they will closed earlier.

Mixed-all-duck rice for RM4, quite reasonable for good food like this in the middle of midnight.

Dinner at Pulau Tikus, I miss the Lok Lok there; purposely went there to eat that. The stall was not the same when I reached there, changed to other, yet the old one was just moved to another side, will only visit it next time when I'm free. Laugh.

The new one, not much variety to choose with.

The sauce was just okay, I miss the old one.

We were then went to Overtime to meet up friends, this time with total of nine people, we went for a barrel which cost around RM350. Stayed there for almost 3 hours, most of the time we were had fun with card games, so lucky that I'm actually quite alert among the girls, and always remembered the rules we set. Too bad, I didn't had much chance to drink the Starker beer, winner of the day I guess.

Due to sister wanted to buy some props for her wedding photo shooting, so whole family were out with her to the night market at Batu Ferringhi. Was so excited because I had long time didn't went to night market; I should go the Connaught night market when I went KL.

Local traders put up their stalls along the walkway despite the main road along Batu Ferringhi, theses stalls stretches for a distance of more than 1km; of course we didn't finished all of it. Bad thing is they seldom have food stalls along the way, I need food! Drool. Stopped by at Long Beach Food Court to grab a refreshment since we bought all the things she need.

No special feel when I stepped in my university, but I know I miss my sisters and friends, when will I get to meet you all? We were all discontent why we need to go back for our presentation, while other students who did they internship at other states need not go back. It just took around 3 hours to finished the session. Too bad that I need to leave earlier, lose a chance to spend time with roomie. No more food hunting after this, went to Ikea again for their food, and I really like the designs there, got some ideas for my future house.

Never saw the cafe with empty tables and seats, this was the first time; it's fasting period for Malays, and maybe it was during weekday. No food photos this time, or you can view back my old entries about Ikea. Good bye Kuala Lumpur, and say Hi to my lovely island.

Raining and traffic jam along the way when we went to Subang Jaya, to look for a shop named Kobe Gyu Taku Yakiniku & Steak; it's somewhere near Asia Cafe, just another road behind it. Again, fate-less with Jogoya, since Raymond wanted to try the Kobe.

As you can see from the sign board, it's a Japenese BBQ style restaurant, served great beef; of course they do have some other Japanese food. Suitable for beef lovers, but not me; I just wanted to try some. Laugh. The ambiance is nice, it looks great with all the alcohol drinks array on the rack. We sat at the tatami room where we can dangled our feet freely, made ourselves comfortable to dine.

Still deciding what to order, again I was taking photos there.

Takumi Mori which is a mix BBQ, we ordered three of this; Prime beef ribeyes. I like the onion, corn and carrot more. Oops.

Spicy Beef Soup with Rice, I actually forgot the name of it already.

They did served us slide of watermelons after the meal, bloated after the dinner. Guess how much we need to pay for the dinner? I forgot the total amount, but I guess it was nearly to RM400, but because we had the voucher from Groupon, we just need to pay half of the price. The night was still young and we strolled around the Mont Kiara area, stopped by Overtime to chill out; it would be a great night if I don't have a presentation on the next day. I love to see the beers filled into barrels, so traditional.

They have a band for us to order songs, a cool place to chill out with friends.

♥ Little Poco

One thing that made me so excited about my short getaway was I finally went to this cosy place - Poco Handmade. Was not really familiar with all the roads around Bangsar, used up some times to find this little cafe; it is located deep inside the housing estate.

White and light blue always make thing looks vintage and warm, every cosy adjective that pop in your mind fits poco handmade, cafe and atelier perfectly. It looks whimsical compare to other shops around, a little Japanese style and Poco means 'little' in Spanish.

This cafe is filled with imported music CDs, books, their handmades which are for sale. Was surrounded with lazy songs, felt like I was out from the reality again. Couldn't help myself to take photos in the cafe, and did some little explore with their handmades.

Dresses are for sale too.

An old type bicycle, basket is fulled with papers and soya drinks.

They have limited item in the menu, but they are enough to feed your stomach with palatable Japanese food. I just had green tea as my drink, while others ordered Organic Coffee and Sumiyaki Coffee (is more bitter compare to others), coffee beans are from Japan. We shared all the food as we already did a reservation at a restaurant for our dinner later, this is just high tea. Laugh.

♥ A legendary hero

Longing for months and finally I watched this movie, Captain America: The First Avenger. Still remember our hero here? Chris Evans who act in the Fantastic Four, the human torch; I couldn't recognise him at all. I admire the courage of Steve, which make him becomes the superhero of America, sacrifice himself just to save the world. Bravo.

This was the first movie that I waited until they finished the credits, most of the people were out from the theater, workers were came in to do their clean-up job; only us sat there to wait for other scene. Luckily, we didn't missed the last yet important scene, a little sneak peak for next year movie, The Avenger. So, did you missed the scene like others? Chuckle. I'm waiting for the movie now, patiently.

Oops, a week away from my blogger life and now I'm back, was lazy to online few days back. Enjoyed my jobless life, but I think I should start my new life after finish my last presentation. I love to start my day with toasts and half boiled eggs, the traditional breakfast of us.

So, I had them at a small coffee shop situated at a back lane along Campbell Street, the Toh Soon Cafe; it is the perfect place for breakfast and tea break. The uniqueness of their toasts is the preparation method by using a super cold charcoal stove, it makes them taste good. I met the boss of Moon Tree 47 at there too. Planned to have high tea session with friends at Kopi Cine, but too bad they are closed because of some issue, so we changed it to Lighthouse Coffee at Bishop Street.

They prepared a board for coffee lovers to leave some words, I stuck my sticky note at there too, you might still can read it if they didn't put it down. Laugh. We were lucky to find us some seats in the crowd and placed our order at the counter, self service.

While the boys did their talking, I had fun snapping some photos there; the owner is so lovely to provide magazines for customers.

The food came in small portion but they really taste good, I finished it within few minutes. Oops. I always enjoy my idle day with a cuppa of drink and book on hand. Boys were complained that Lighthouse Coffee should provide games for customers too, yet they had fun with my mobile games; I only got my mobile back when it ran out of battery.

Dinner with family at Hakka Tree, Tesco; it's located nearby the Straits Quay, newly opened like weeks ago. Parents claimed that they had some groceries to buy but ended up we bought only one thing, they like window shopping! Laugh.
